As you are in the Hebrides, you know that the weather can make for interesting times on both land and sea, and for each cruise, Murdo, your skipper, takes the weather conditions into account. As Loch Roag is a very large sea loch, divided into east and west, it means that, with his decades of experience, Murdo can generally find calmer waters.
However, should the weather conditions be too rough, and the cruise has to be cancelled, you will be offered either a full refund or an option to reschedule onto another cruise, as stated in our Terms & Conditions.
Our vessel, the MV Cuma, is fully Marine Coastguard Agency compliant and has an open reversible life-raft and lifejackets for everyone on board, including infant lifejackets. There is no need to wear lifejackets on board. There is also a qualified first-aider crew member on board for every trip.
Yes, just email us and we will organise that for you.
While the MV Cuma's saloon is cosy and warm, we suggest that you wear suitable outdoor clothing and shoes, so that you can also enjoy the scenery and wildlife from the deck. The weather can be unpredictable making layered clothing a good choice, including a waterproof jacket.
Yes, we have on-board toilets.
We offer a hot filled roll and tea/coffee on the morning cruise, and tea/coffee and a sandwich lunch on the afternoon cruise. If you have any specific dietary requirements please inform us using the site's contact form.
